Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant construction discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the Construction Industry, Civils and/or M&E.
• Understanding of the commercial aspects of construction contracts.
• Membership with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
• Ability to lead tender submissions and coordinate design inputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of tender estimates for civil and M&E projects.
• Coordinate tender design and submission where required.
• Manage tender programme with delivery managers.
• Obtain quotations and estimate costs for direct staff, labour and plant.
• Identify risks and opportunities and reflect them in tender sums.
• Support post-tender checks and handover of successful tenders.
• Manage assigned Assistant Estimators and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
