Job summary

Shirley Parsons Ltd is partnering with a leading infrastructure business to recruit an experienced Environmental Manager or Senior Environmental Manager to lead environmental delivery across two major London projects, shaping strategy from the ground up.

This hands-on role will work with Project Directors and teams, providing authority and expert guidance to drive compliance, EMS implementation, and energy and carbon management across the sites.

Qualifications

• Senior Environmental Manager with ownership of delivery across major projects
• Major infrastructure/construction project background required
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001
• Desirable energy and carbon experience, or willingness to develop
• Natural authority to influence senior stakeholders and on-site teams

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental delivery across two major projects and advise senior leadership.
• Shape environmental strategy, systems, plans and controls from early stage of delivery.
• Drive EMS implementation, compliance, audits, monitoring and continual improvement across the projects.
• Own energy and carbon management to improve project performance.
• Influence and challenge to ensure environmental standards are delivered in practice on site.
