Shirley Parsons partnered with a leading UK infrastructure organisation to appoint a Senior Environmental Consultant. You will join a team delivering environmental guidance across major highways and construction projects, shaping sustainable infrastructure and delivering real environmental value.

You will lead environmental delivery, manage reports, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with engineers, regulators and clients to ensure compliant, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or infrastructure environments.
• In-depth knowledge of UK environmental legislation and permits.
• Chartered status or active progress toward it.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and regulators.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental delivery across desk- and site-based projects.
• Identify opportunities to enhance sustainability outcomes across projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, construction teams and stakeholders to ensure compliant design solutions.
• Prepare and review environmental reports and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members and support project delivery.
