Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Lead Architect to own the architecture for one of its flagship products in the education space. You will steer the strategy across a complex partner-shared technology landscape, ensuring alignment with product direction and governance.

Hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in client offices. You will mentor a Solution Architect, collaborate with Product leadership, and influence cross-organisational stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide excellence.

Qualifications

Proven enterprise/lead architecture experience in multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong cloud (AWS) and event-driven architecture background.
Excellent stakeholder management and consensus building.
Experience in education/publishing or regulated partner ecosystems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the target architecture and roadmap across a complex partner-shared landscape.
Balance partner-owned systems with in-house systems to maintain coherence.
Provide architectural guidance and standards across a broad architecture community.
Collaborate with Product leadership to reflect product strategy in architecture.
Track emerging technologies and their impact on a fast-evolving AWS-based estate.
Line-manage and mentor a Solution Architect.
