Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join a growing architecture function during a major technology transformation programme. You will shape architecture capability, support modernisation, cloud adoption, AI initiatives, and business-critical transformation projects.

Working across a broad remit, you will collaborate with senior business stakeholders, technical teams, product owners and delivery functions to design scalable, secure and commercially effective solutions, ensuring

Qualifications

Experience in greenfield or low-maturity architecture environments and helping establish architecture practice.
Strong experience in Solution Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud services and SaaS platforms.
Experience delivering applications, integration and cloud architecture solutions.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage C-suite and technical teams.
Experience producing high-level designs and reviewing technical designs.
Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns and enterprise application architecture.
Experience supporting cloud transformation, application modernisation and migration initiatives.
Exposure to AI technologies, Microsoft AI services or enterprise AI programmes.
Broad architectural mindset with contribution across solution, enterprise, data and business architecture domains.
Experience working within TOGAF-aligned or similar architecture frameworks.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned to business goals and architecture principles.
Produce high-level solution designs and review low-level technical design.
Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Act as the bridge between senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Contribute to architecture governance, standards, design patterns and best practice.
Define integration approaches across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms and cloud services.
Support large-scale transformation and modernisation programmes.
Evaluate technology options and provide build vs buy recommendations.
Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and performance requirements.
Mentor technical leads and support the development of architecture capability across the organisation.
