Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to guide a major technology transformation in a financial services client. The role requires hands-on architectural delivery, cloud migration, and AI/agent-based initiatives, with governance oversight across multiple business units.

You’ll empower architects, own the backlog, and collaborate with IT Security to ensure designs meet security requirements. The position blends senior technical authority with active hands-on work in a hybrid London

Qualifications

Hands-on background with ability to configure and deploy, not just design on paper.
Experience across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
Exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms like Workday and SAP.
Knowledge of solution design, architecture governance, threat modelling, and security-led design review.
Experience with modelling approaches such as ArchiMate or UML.

Responsibilities

Act as senior technical authority, reviewing designs for technical soundness and integration before review board.
Produce designs and low-level detail for IT Security threat modelling and review.
Contribute to the technical design authority (TDA) process.
Own backlog of architecture work, resourcing, and demand planning across business units.
Build out and mature the architecture practice and community of practice.
Support cloud migration and AI/agent-based transformation initiatives.
Present and defend technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
