Lynx Recruitment seeks a Lead Engineer - Electrical Controls & Automation in Norfolk to lead projects from enquiry through delivery, testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, industrial automation, control systems, and LV switchgear, plus proficiency with EPLAN and AutoCAD, EN60204 and BS7671 knowledge, and a UK driving licence with willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Manage control systems and LV switchgear projects from enquiry to delivery.
• Produce electrical schematics, control panel layouts and technical documentation.
• Prepare quotations, estimates and technical proposals.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and production teams.
• Support FAT, site commissioning, fault finding and project handover.
• Develop and maintain build documentation for volume-manufactured products.
• Prepare FDS and associated technical documentation.
• Support post-installation and call-out activities.

JOB – Lead Engineer - Electrical Controls & Automation

LOCATION – Norfolk

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £45,000 - £50,000 DOE

My client is a growing electrical engineering and control systems business, delivering automation, control systems and LV switchgear solutions to a range of industrial clients.

They are looking for a Lead Engineer - Electrical Controls & Automation, to manage projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, testing and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in electrical design, industrial automation, controls or project engineering
• Strong knowledge of control systems and LV switchgear
• Experience using EPLAN and AutoCAD to produce electrical schematics and panel layouts
• Good understanding of EN60204 and BS7671
• Experience with control panel and backplate design
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of UKCA/CE requirements; UL 508A advantageous
• Experience with pneumatic systems advantageous
• Galaxy 3 / Cubic software experience advantageous
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK

The role will involve:
