Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced Embedded Design Authority Team Leader to drive safety-critical defence programmes from concept to production.

You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage DFMEA activities, review production drawings to BS8888, and act as the technical interface with customers and suppliers. The role is predominantly on-site near Kidderminster with potential hybrid working after team establishment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Design Authority in a safety-critical environment.
• Expert knowledge of DFMEA methodologies and governance.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with regulatory standards and engineering governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through full product lifecycle from concept to production and in-service support.
• Review and approve detailed production drawings to BS8888 and manufacturability requirements.
• Lead DFMEA activities across development programmes and ensure compliance.
• Chair formal design reviews (PDR, DDR, CDR) and interface with customers and suppliers.
