Job summary

Rivan Industries seeks an experienced process engineer to own the design of its alkaline water electrolyser system. You will cover stack design and balance of plant, from first-principles concepts through P&IDs, equipment spec, factory build and commissioning.

You will collaborate with mechanical engineers and workshop technicians to develop test rigs, validate hypotheses, and lead safety engineering including HAZOP/LOPA and containment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in process engineering.
• Hydrogen electrolysis or electrochemical processes experience.
• Multiphase flow expertise and handling gas–liquid systems.

Responsibilities

• Own process engineering of the alkaline water electrolyser, including stack design and balance of plant.
• Lead end-to-end process design from concept to commissioning.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to develop test rigs and validate hypotheses.
• Lead process safety engineering (HAZOP/LOPA), relief systems, and containment.
• Solve complex fluid/thermal problems and support deployment of completed systems.
