Job summary

WINSEARCH is seeking a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer at a Standish/Pemberton site near Wigan. The role oversees the maintenance team, drives preventative maintenance, and delivers projects from concept to delivery. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30, with focus on safe, reliable production support.

You will lead direct supervision of technicians, promote CMMS usage, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to uphold high standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in highly regulated environments and a commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Promote and use the CMMS with detailed inputs by all team members.
• deputise for the Maintenance Manager as required.
• Monitor equipment condition; report abnormalities and risks.
• Set clear priorities; focus on preventative maintenance and critical opportunities.
• Identify replacement parts and order via approved channels.
• Manage change requests for non–like-for-like replacements.
• Ensure tasks are completed safely; audit and feedback on standards.
