Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Standish/Wigan area to lead the maintenance team in a busy manufacturing environment. The role combines hands-on electrical expertise with team leadership, maintenance planning and project delivery.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager, supervise technicians, deputise as needed, and drive improvements in equipment reliability and maintenance standards. Excellent communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical knowledge and leadership abilities.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively in a regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure smooth production.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to maintenance technicians.
• Deputise for the Maintenance Manager when required.
• Promote use of CMMS and ensure accurate maintenance records.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Plan preventative maintenance and prioritise resources.
