Mott MacDonald Bentley seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across major water and wastewater schemes in Scotland. You will guide concept through commissioning, ensuring adherence to standards and safe, efficient integration with other disciplines.

You will shape electrical functions across projects, mentor engineers, and travel to sites as required to ensure buildability and alignment with client goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant institution.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience delivering high-quality outputs in line with design, quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design, planning, and execution of electrical engineering on projects.
• Provide design support and guidance for schemes ensuring compliance with current legislation and standards.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams to deliver practical and safe solutions.
