Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Electrical Lead to join our growing multi-disciplinary team in the UK. You will lead design, review and delivery of electrical services for rail and built-environment projects, supervising engineers and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliant, value-for-money solutions.

Usually based in the UK, you will manage design development from concept through to construction, driving quality, safety and sustainability across large infrastructure schemes

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of building and leading multi-disciplinary teams on electrical services design for rail/public infrastructure.
Experience applying electrical calculation software and advising procurement of new tools.
Good understanding of railway lineside systems and built-environment integration.

Responsibilities

Production and approval of design concepts, drawings, specifications and other technical documents
Establishment of internal design standards and processes for quality and efficiency
Work within a project team to achieve objectives
Supervise others; sign off design certificates on behalf of the company
Prepare, check and approve feasibility studies and detailed design reports
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation (CDM)
