Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a senior engineer to lead and deliver electrical services design for major rail and public transport projects in the UK. You will guide project teams, develop design concepts and ensure technically robust solutions within budget and schedule.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical design, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, and professional accreditation such as CEng or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of building and leading teams on large multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in electrical services design for rail and built environment.
• Proficient with industry-standard electrical calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Production and approval of design concepts, drawings and technical documents.
• Establish internal design standards to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead and develop the project team, supervise others, and sign off designs.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers.
