Job summary

Urenco Global is seeking a Design Manager to join the Capenhurst/Birchwood site. You will lead multidisciplinary design teams, deliver Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and operational standards while safeguarding Urenco's technology and IP.

You will drive design excellence, supervise project execution, and act as Intelligent Customer for Core Technology suppliers, promoting a strong safety culture across engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor's degree or PE accreditation in a related technical discipline.
• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering medium to large-scale plant design projects.
• Experience managing FEED activities, including feasibility studies, conceptual and basic design, and BAT assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver FEED activities and ensure alignment with investment proposals and Urenco standards.
• Coordinate design resources, budgets and delivery across multiple projects.
• Provide design assurance, governance and oversight of engineering delivery across suppliers and interfaces.
• Support investment decisions with technical assessments and option studies.
