Calibre Search is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Portsmouth for a hybrid role. You will design building services for defence estates, central government and critical national infrastructure, with drawings that survive security vetting.

Lead electrical design from survey through commissioning, collaborate with mechanical, architectural and structural teams, and mentor junior engineers while travelling occasionally within the South.

Formación

• Consultancy background in building services electrical design.
• Experience with lighting design software (Dialux) and related calcs.
• Senior candidates with solid, independent design experience.
• UK security clearance eligibility (British national, typically 5+ years).

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical design on defence, government and public sector projects, from survey through commissioning.
• Lighting, power, small power, life safety and security systems in live, secure environments.
• Some travel to sites across the South and South West, with day trips kept within about two hours.
• Work closely with the mechanical, architectural and structures teams under one roof.
• Principal candidates will take on design oversight, mentoring and client leadership.
