Our client, a leading global manufacturer of fluid-flow systems, is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team in the UK. The role combines hands-on electrical design with team leadership, project delivery and onsite commissioning support across industrial and process projects.

You will lead EICA design efforts, develop control architectures, ensure compliance with BS 7671 and safety regulations, mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical design teams on industrial projects.
• Proficient in BS 7671 and related regulations.
• Skilled in producing schematics, P&IDs and instrument schedules.
• Onsite installation and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead EICA designs for industrial and process projects.
• Produce schematics, SLDs, cable schedules and panel designs.
• Develop control architectures and instrument specifications.
• Coordinate engineering input and mentor juniors.
• Support site surveys, FAT/SAT and commissioning.
• Provide technical updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Review drawings and prepare submittals with procurement.
