EDC Engineering Design Consultants Ltd, a BIM Level 2 certified consultancy, seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design on complex projects and guide junior engineers. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to BIM modelling and detailed drawings.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality designs from concept through construction, with opportunities to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree level in Electrical Engineering and Chartered engineer status desirable.
• 6+ years building services consultancy design experience is required.
• Proven experience delivering detailed designs through full design cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on projects of varying sizes and mentor juniors.
• Deliver electrical design packages across all project stages to standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Identify technical risks and assist in mitigating them.
• Assist BIM and modelling teams with coordinated 3D models and drawings.
• Attend design meetings, site visits, and client discussions.
