The role requires 18th Edition qualification, strong leadership, and hands-on electrical design capabilities with AutoCAD and Amtech software. Salary £60K-£70K, on-site role in England, with 25 days holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring a small team of electrical design engineers.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Electrical design skills are essential.
• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineer for a small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring, delegating, technical support.
• Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects.
• Equipment selections and design calculations.
• Attend meetings with customers.
• Assist with project planning.
• Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance.
• Specification of compliant parts and practices.
