Job summary

White Recruitment Construction is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer in the UK to lead a small team and drive electrical design across multiple projects in building services or industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience, 18th Edition qualification, and strong AutoCAD/Amtech skills, with an Electrical Engineering degree or HNC and a driving licence. Flexible hours and local candidates preferred.

• Electrical design skills are essential.
• HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineer for a small team of electrical design engineers, mentoring, delegating, technical support.
• Electrical design of LV layout requirements for multiple projects.
• Equipment selections and design calculations.
• Attend meetings with customers and assist with project planning.
• Maintain regulatory/legislative compliance and specify compliant parts.
