Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with professional institution membership.
• Degree in Electrical Building Services, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in electrical building services design.
• Proven experience managing and developing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong technical knowledge to lead complex electrical designs.
• Experience delivering sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions from concept to construction.
• Strong understanding of quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical info to a broad audience.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting bids and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of electrical engineering works across building services and ensure coordinated design solutions.
• Manage team utilization, output quality, and professional development.
• Prepare electrical designs, feasibility studies, and design-stage information.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary designs and technical specifications meeting client objectives.
• Ensure projects meet budgets, programmes, and quality standards.
• Support business development including bids and client meetings.
