Job summary

Global Engineering Talent is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a building services consultancy in London. Based at Kings Cross, you will lead electrical design across hotels and commercial projects, collaborating with clients and consultants to deliver high-quality designs.

The role requires expertise in BS 7671, Building Regulations, and LV distribution, lighting and life-safety systems. You will mentor juniors and help grow the London office.

Qualifications

• Substantial electrical design experience within Building Services.
• Strong consultancy or MEP design background.
• Ability to independently lead electrical design on projects.
• Experience across multiple RIBA stages and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical Building Services designs from concept to detailed design.
• Design LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power and containment systems.
• Produce designs for fire alarms, security, data, and other systems.
• Prepare specifications, schedules and design documentation.
• Lead client and design-team meetings and review drawings.
