Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical building services design across high-value projects.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction, ensuring compliant, sustainable and cost-effective solutions. The role requires chartered status, a degree in electrical building services or related field, and a proven track record in leading engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status and membership of CIBSE or IET.
• Degree in Electrical Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
• Significant experience in electrical building services design.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical knowledge to lead complex electrical design projects.
• Experience delivering sustainable, compliant and cost-effective designs.
• Strong understanding of quality procedures and document control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness and bid support experience.
• Proactive development of self and others.

Responsabilités

• Leading the delivery of electrical engineering works and coordinating disciplines.
• Managing team utilisation, output quality and development.
• Preparing electrical designs, feasibility studies and design-stage information.
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines for effective delivery.
• Leading multidisciplinary designs and technical specifications meeting client objectives.
• Ensuring delivery within budgets, programmes and quality standards.
• Supporting bids, client meetings and development of new opportunities.
• Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
