Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer in Birmingham to lead an Electrical Design Team and deliver high-quality building services solutions. You will own technical direction, mentor engineers and drive growth across diverse projects within a multidisciplinary MEP consultancy.

You will act as technical authority, oversee feasibility through construction, and manage client relationships while ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and related standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Building Services or MEP consultancy.
• Experience leading electrical design projects from concept to completion.
• Proven experience developing and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, specification and delivery of electrical building services projects across RIBA stages.
• Act as principal technical authority for electrical engineering.
• Lead client, contractor and design team meetings and manage project programmes.
