Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Automation Engineer to lead remote automation initiatives, designing and deploying state-of-the-art control systems across global projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance PLC/HMI/robotics integration, optimize processes, and deliver robust, efficient automation solutions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Remote work offers great flexibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 8+ years in electrical automation engineering, with remote experience.
• Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio5000) and HMI/SCADA.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automation systems including PLC/HMI and robotics integration.
• Optimize automated processes for performance, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Oversee commissioning and validation of new automation solutions.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, clients, and engineering teams to define strategies.
• Develop technical specifications, documentation, and training materials.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and recommend adoption.
