Job summary
A cutting-edge health tech company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cross Discipline Electrical/Controls Engineer to join their Automation and Equipment Team. This role involves designing and developing custom automation equipment for manufacturing and R&D, programming PLCs, and ensuring effective communication structures in production lines. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Electrical Design or Controls Engineering, at least 4 years of experience, and a strong background in programming and schematic design. This position offers a remote working setup, with rare onsite visits required.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years’ experience in equipment controls/electrical design role.
Proficient in programming PLCs and safety PLCs.
Experienced in robotic programming.
Ability to conduct EQ electrical checks.
Responsibilities
Support pilot and production line equipment from an electrical and controls aspect.
Design electrical and control systems with supporting schematics.
Systematically debug electrical issues and rectify them safely.
Own documentation around equipment design in terms of electrical and controls.
