Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of complex mechanical systems on a fully remote basis. You will mentor engineers, perform advanced analyses, and ensure engineering excellence across global projects in a distributed team.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and strong CAD and simulation skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, FEA, CFD).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools; strong material science knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex mechanical systems.
• Perform advanced analyses (FEA/CFD) to validate designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a virtual setting.
• Create and maintain design docs, drawings, and BOMs.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior engineers in remote collaboration.
