Job summary

Freemans-Event-Partners seeks a Duty Manager for catering and bars across national UK event sites. You will lead front-line teams, support unit managers and ensure exceptional guest experiences with strict safety and licensing compliance. The role covers build, live event delivery and breakdown in fast-paced environments.

Essential leadership, communication and operational planning are required, plus a willingness to travel nationwide. A full driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing catering or bar operations.
• Experience within large-scale events, festivals or stadia.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred) and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated catering and bar operations during event delivery.
• Support the Event Manager in delivering all food and beverage operations.
• Ensure outlets are fully operational before gates open.
• Monitor service standards and respond to operational issues.
• Coordinate stock replenishment and ensure accurate cash handling where required.
• Manage staff welfare, briefings and performance during shifts.
• Drive service speed while maintaining quality.
• Build phase, live event and breakdown responsibilities across sites.
