Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large ductwork and ventilation packages on secure environment projects in the Midlands and North. You will manage delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring safety, on-time performance and high-quality standards.

Key requirements include SMSTS, experience with fire-rated systems and passing vetting for MOJ/secure environments, plus proven subcontractor and fabrications coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large ductwork/ventilation packages.
• Knowledge of fire-rated systems and fire dampers.
• MOJ / secure environment vetting experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing site delivery in line with programme and project requirements.
• Leading and coordinating labour-only contractors on site.
• Working closely with design, drawing, and manufacturing teams.
• Reviewing drawings and fabrication details for buildability and compliance.
• Producing and managing RAMS, RFIs, ITPs, progress reports.
• Identifying risks, constraints, and programme challenges early.
• Maintaining quality standards and managing project close-out.
