Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd actively seeks a Duct work/Ventilation Project Manager to lead on-site ducting projects with strong technical knowledge and organisational skills. You will manage labour-only contractors, monitor programme requirements, and ensure quality paperwork and progress reporting align with project milestones.

The role requires coordination with site teams, the drawing office and ductwork manufacturing workshop to ensure timely delivery and compliant close-out.

Qualifications

• Previous Project Manager / Site Manager / Package Manager experience in ductwork or ventilation.
• NVQ Level 4-6 in Construction Site Management or related discipline preferred.
• SMSTS required; IPAF and PASMA preferred or willing to maintain certification where needed.
• Experience in MOJ/prison or secure estate projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage ductwork/ventilation on site in line with the project programme and client requirements.
• Oversee labour-only contractors, including daily activities and productivity.
• Produce and manage technical submittals, RFIs, RAMS, ITPs and progress reports.
• Coordinate with drawing office and manufacturing workshop to align delivery with programme.
• Review fabrication drawings for buildability and installation needs.
• Identify issues early and raise clear actions to resolve them.
• Maintain close-out records, handover information and completion paperwork.

Options Resourcing Ltd are actively looking for a Duct work/Ventilation Project Manager.

Job role & responsibilities

The role needs someone with good technical ductwork knowledge, strong organisation, and the ability to manage labour-only contractors, programme requirements, quality paperwork, progress reporting, manufacturing coordination and close-out. You will need to work closely with site teams, the drawing office, internal support departments and the ductwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the ductwork / ventilation works on site in line with the project programme, quality requirements and client expectations.
• Manage labour-only contractors, including daily activities, productivity, workmanship, sequencing and site performance.
• Produce and manage technical submittals, RFIs, RAMS, ITPs, progress reports, dependency schedules, productivity reviews and outstanding works schedules.
• Coordinate with internal support departments, the drawing office and ductwork manufacturing workshop to make sure ductwork is planned, manufactured and delivered in line with the site programme.
• Review manufacturing drawings and fabrication information for quality, completeness, buildability and installation requirements.
• Identify programme issues, quality concerns, manufacturing constraints and site dependencies early, and raise them with clear actions.
• Maintain quality control, close-out records, handover information and completion paperwork.

Required Quals/Experience

• Previous Project Manager, Site Manager, Package Manager or similar experience in ductwork, ventilation or air distribution works.
• MOJ, prison, custodial or secure estate experience would be preferred.
• NVQ Level 4-6 in Construction Site Management, Building Services Engineering, Project Management or a relevant construction discipline preferred.
• SMSTS required.
• IPAF and PASMA preferred, or willingness to maintain current certification where required for the project.
