NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is recruiting a Lead Document Controller for a hybrid role based in Wolverhampton or Warrington. You will lead document control across engineering projects, maintain standards, support project teams and drive improvements.

You will oversee document control activities, manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with quality procedures while collaborating with engineers, clients and suppliers.

Formación

• Proven experience in document control within engineering, manufacturing, industrial projects or turnkey engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of document control processes and revision management.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar DMS.

Responsabilidades

• Project Document Control: manage receipt, issue, distribution, review and approval of project documentation with traceable records.
• Document Management Systems: set up and maintain project systems using Autodesk Vault or similar DMS.
• Engineering Documentation: manage technical documents and drawings, maintain revision control and registers.
• Compliance and Quality: ensure procedures are followed and conduct spot audits.
• Client Systems: coordinate documentation through client management systems as required.
• Team Leadership: provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring to Document Controllers.
• Continuous Improvement: review procedures and implement improvements in document control.
• Project Support: assist Project/Programme Managers with documentation tracking and packs.
