Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Lead Software Engineer (DevSecOps) to drive secure, automated software delivery across our product teams in the UK. You will build and run CI/CD pipelines, IaC modules, and platform services, guiding engineers with hands-on leadership and collaboration with Security.

You will lead a team to embed security into day-to-day engineering, optimise pipelines for speed and reliability, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Architects and Product teams to ship safely at

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and platform automation.
Experience building and operating automated delivery pipelines and platform capabilities in production.
Experience leading or acting as technical lead for a small engineering team or workstream.
Solid understanding of software supply chain security principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the DevSecOps and platform automation team to deliver secure, scalable delivery capabilities.
Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates.
Embed security controls (SAST/DAST/SCA, SBOM) and policy checks into pipelines and products.
Coach engineers, run code/design reviews, and drive best practices across product teams.
