DWP Digital is seeking a seasoned DevOps leader to drive standards and practices across multiple teams. You will mentor engineers, shape platform design, and advance automation with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native tooling.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across multiple teams as a DevOps specialist, defining standards and ensuring best practices.
• Experience line-managing, mentoring and supporting DevOps engineers in agile teams.
• Strong experience with version control and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or Jenkins).
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-code and cloud provider configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day DevOps activities and set engineering standards across products.
• Mentor and review designs (e.g., Terraform) and guide teams in DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape platform strategy and future direction.
