Job summary

DWP Digital is recruiting for a senior DevOps role within the UK's largest government department. You will lead across multiple teams, define and promote DevOps standards, and shape the technical landscape of our platforms.

Expect autonomy, a strong culture of collaboration, and the chance to influence public services at scale. You will work in a hybrid model across hubs in multiple cities, contributing to the ongoing transformation of digital services and helping teams own and operate

Qualifications

• Significant DevOps experience across multiple teams.
• Experience mentoring DevOps engineers in agile environments.
• Strong experience with version control and CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud configuration.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments in Azure.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and review Terraform designs.
