Job summary

AND Digital is seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure across the Accounts platform. You will lead secure, scalable AWS environments, establish standards, and drive automation and reliability in collaboration with software engineering teams.

You will mentor peers, shape the technical roadmap, and promote best practices for operational excellence in a blended working model across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Strong background in Terraform and IaC.
• Proven ability to design and operate CI/CD platforms.
• Expertise in monitoring, observability and incident management.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking and governance.
• Automation experience using Python, Bash or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and ownership of the AWS cloud infrastructure for the Accounts platform.
• Design, build and continuously improve scalable, secure cloud architectures.
• Lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Establish and champion Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
• Define and improve monitoring, observability, alerting and operational controls.
• Drive cloud security, networking, access control and governance.
• Lead the technical response to production incidents and prevent recurrence.
