Job summary

Methods is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own delivery platforms and influence technical direction across teams and clients. The role blends hands-on engineering with leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement in agile delivery settings.

You will design, implement and govern CI/CD pipelines, IaC solutions, and cloud architecture across AWS/Azure/GCP in hybrid environments, while mentoring engineers and driving reliability and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and running CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Git-based workflows.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (HCL) in production environments.
• Python for automation and tooling.
• Experience with Bash, PowerShell or Go.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with multi-cloud/hybrid architectures.
• Strong Linux experience; Windows Server and macOS familiarity.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and improvement of CI/CD platforms and workflows.
• Own complex technical problems from discovery through to solution.
• Define and promote engineering standards and best practice.
• Design Infrastructure as Code solutions for cloud and hybrid platforms.
• Provide technical leadership within delivery teams.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
• Review designs, code and pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and stakeholders.
• Communicate trade-offs and decisions clearly.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and technical strategy.
