Job summary

Omexom is seeking a Principal Design Engineer to lead design teams and deliver multi-disciplinary projects to cost, schedule and quality targets. You will ensure technical compliance, mentor graduates, and supervise design activities across primary elements, under the guidance of the Design Manager.

You will coordinate with internal engineers and external stakeholders, applying CDM 2015 principles and industry standards to deliver safe, buildable, and compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Strong understanding of UK design standards and industry regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day design team management.
• Check design deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Act as Principal Designer where required under CDM 2015.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and construction teams.
• Provide design assurance and contractor deliverables approval.
• Mentor graduates and junior engineers.
