Job summary

Leonardo UK in Bristol/Luton is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team. You will develop integration and test plans, manage parts and documentation, and collaborate with suppliers and users across the UK to deliver high-performance systems for defence applications.

The role requires a science-based honours degree or equivalent, five years UK residency, and willingness to obtain BPSS/NSV security clearances.

Qualifications

• Degree in a science-based field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle activities.
• Knowledge of defence sector norms and document control.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration and test plans.
• Control parts and documentation, including change management.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development.
• Engage with suppliers, integrators and users across the UK.
• Lead or mentor engineers and deliver reports and proposals to customers.
