Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Dialectical Behaviour Therapist/Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Psychotherapist to lead the Lewisham DBT Service. This maternity cover 12-month fixed contract requires delivering a comprehensive DBT service for adults with EUPD/BPD and supervising other DBT therapists.

The role involves assessment, risk management, research and development, and providing training to staff.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
• Experience with DBT-informed approaches for emotion regulation difficulties.
• Ability to supervise and consult with other staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver adherent DBT including individual sessions and skills groups.
• Provide specialist assessments, risk management and care planning.
• Lead and supervise junior DBT therapists and contribute to supervision.
