Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced clinical lead for the DBT service (DBT-A) at the Maudsley Centre. The role combines clinical leadership with operational management of a busy youth DBT programme, sustaining fidelity to the evidence-based model and supporting a small caseload.

The post will involve supervision, service development, and collaboration with CAMHS colleagues nationally, while monitoring outcomes and reporting to the Senior Management Team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in a DBT programme at a senior level.
• Ability to provide effective supervision and support around complex clinical and workforce challenges.
• Strong relationship-building to foster collaboration and problem-solving within the team and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the DBT team and related activities.
• Lead on service developments, evaluations and research; provide training, supervision and consultation to DBT-A programmes and CAMHS colleagues nationally.
• Monitor programme outcomes and ensure Trust performance targets and budgetary requirements are met.
