Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to own end-to-end delivery of modelling solutions across lending and customer decisioning. You will lead high-impact credit risk and predictive modelling projects, building LLM-powered workflows and AI agents to generate commercial value.

You will collaborate with product, analytics and engineering teams, operating in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Strong data platform experience with AWS and Snowflake is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering predictive models from development through to production.
• Experience in credit risk, decisioning, lending, fraud, or related areas.
• Hands-on Python and SQL expertise.
• Experience building LLM applications, AI agents, or generative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving credit risk models.
• Building and maintaining predictive models using credit bureau and alternative data.
• Enhancing recommendation and decisioning models.
• Designing and deploying LLM-powered and agentic workflows.
• Partnering with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver models into production.
• Identifying new opportunities to apply data science across the business.
