Job summary

Raylo is seeking an ambitious Lead Data Scientist to join and lead our advanced modelling efforts. You will own the data science function, deploy production-grade ML models, and collaborate across product, engineering, risk, and commercial teams to drive Raylo’s growth globally.

The role emphasizes building scalable models for credit risk, churn prediction, and personalised recommendations, while shaping the future of Raylo’s analytics capabilities and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science and predictive modelling.
• Proven track record building and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Leadership experience coaching and growing a data science function.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Raylo’s data science function, deploying AI/ML to solve business problems.
• Own end-to-end design, build and deployment of production-grade ML models (credit risk, churn, recommendations).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk, operations and commercial teams to identify high-impact modelling opportunities.
• Translate complex modelling approaches into clear commercial benefits for stakeholders.
• Shape Raylo’s data science roadmap and build the function from the ground up.
