Job summary

Spotify is seeking an Engineering Manager II to lead a data and backend team within our Subscriptions Mission. You will mentor engineers, shape data products and pipelines, and partner with product managers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You'll foster growth, drive technical decisions, and explore AI-powered workflows to improve data quality and customer experiences across Spotify's subscription services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data or backend engineering teams.
• Background in data architecture, distributed systems, scalability and reliability.
• Ability to balance technical decisions with delivery priorities.
• Familiarity with cloud data tooling and data pipelines.
