Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development to help your team excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Will Do |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure an outstanding guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What We Look For |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams to flourish.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • A forward-thinking problem solver capable of quick decision-making.
