Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a supportive environment where your team feels valued and motivated, fostering a coaching culture.
  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team skills.
  • Maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Building a strong, developing team through recruitment and ongoing training.
  • Being a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions as needed.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to have meaningful conversations with your team.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of financial performance, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
