Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Manager – Core Components to lead the integrated Core Components portfolio and deliver safe, mature designs across a regulated nuclear programme. You’ll manage a growing engineering team, drive strategy, governance, and delivery, and collaborate with design, systems engineering, manufacturing, and regulators.

The role blends deep technical leadership with people management, programme planning and stakeholder engagement, in a hybrid working environment across UK sites

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Significant experience leading design, development and delivery of complex engineered products.
• Experience with reactor core components and highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated Core Component solutions and drive technical maturity.
• Provide leadership to a growing engineering team and shape capabilities.
• Define delivery strategies, governance and operating models for programme execution.
• Manage complex programmes balancing technical, schedule and budget constraints.
