Job summary

Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa in Ocean Village is seeking an experienced Head Concierge to lead the Front of House team and deliver the five-star guest experience our hotel is known for, from arrival through departure.

You will supervise the Concierge team, coordinate guest requests, taxis, local recommendations and VIP arrivals, and work closely with Reception, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa and Management to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Concierge or Front of House team in luxury hospitality.
• Proven ability to deliver five-star guest service.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Concierge team to maintain high service standards.
• Own the guest journey from arrival to departure and ensure five-star experiences.
• Welcome guests personally and provide a warm, personalised experience.
• Coordinate luggage, storage, arrivals/departures and deliveries with care.
• Assist guests with taxis, transfers, local recommendations, reservations and experiences.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Southampton and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with Reception, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa and management for seamless service.
• Manage VIP, repeat and special occasion arrivals with pre-arranged arrangements.
• Support on busy arrival/departure periods including cruise days and peak weekends.
