Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to oversee a Complex Care team delivering 1:1 support to individuals with spinal injuries, ABI, tracheostomy and ventilation needs. The role involves supervisory duties, competency checks and ongoing risk assessments in a community setting across Sussex.

You will conduct inductions, manage rotas, and ensure top care standards while collaborating with a Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• Supervisory qualification or willingness to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification.
• Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist and enteral feeding.
• Experience with adults or children who have complex care needs; community experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; good time management.
• Right to work in the UK and a clean UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct observations, competency checks, appraisals and regular supervision of staff.
• Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.
• Staff meet and greets, inductions and rostering gap identification.
• Ensure high standards of care and participate in team meetings; address any poor practice.
