Job summary

Superior Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Complex Carer advancing to Field Care Supervisor based across Sussex. You will supervise a Complex Care team, perform competency checks, and carry out risk assessments with the Nurse Manager, while remaining hands-on with clients and ensuring high standards of care.

The role requires community experience, UK work rights, a supervisory qualification or willingness to attain NVQ 3, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• A supervisory/coaching qualification or willingness to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory.
• Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist and enteral feeding.
• Experience with adults or children with complex care needs.
• Community experience and excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to plan effectively with good time management.
• Right to work in the UK and a clean UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct observations, competency checks, appraisals and ensure staff receive regular supervisions.
• Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.
• Lead staff meet and greets, inductions and identify rota gaps.
• Ensure high standards of care, attend team meetings and address poor practice.
