Job summary

NHSGGC in Glasgow invites applications for a Band 6 Community Nurse within the Learning Disability Services. You will work as part of a MultiDisciplinary Team to improve health outcomes for people with learning disabilities in the Glasgow area, carrying an appropriate caseload and providing expert assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based care.

You must have a live NMC pin, post-registration experience, staff governance responsibilities, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Have live NMC pin in order to be considered for the post.
• Have at least 2 years professional experience with evidence of proven leadership within learning disabilities.
• Be able to display evidence of post-registration educational development.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload with ongoing responsibility.
• Lead specialist nursing assessments and care programmes for individuals with complex needs.
• Coordinate care with multi-disciplinary teams and chair meetings.
